A new museum for 2025 covering the Hythe hard, ferry, pier, train and people.

The museum is free, and open whenever the Hythe Shed (by the pier) volunteers have their adjoining shop open, which is Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am.

About the Organisation

Hythe Pier Museum

A new museum covering the history of the Hythe Pier, Train and Ferry from 1575 until yesterday! We don't have a phone, but the 023 8129 0819 will connect you to the Hythe Shed (at the pier) who operate the shop.
